I’d still say keep picking two weapons with different elements, though. This is a preference, I like to equip both weapons to a character with their EX, but would still do both different elements. But also, if you don’t plan on playing this game for too much especially post-story, then fuck it and just sell everything and just keep the best weapon lol Keep fusing weapons into better ones so you can always keep those abilities as you progress through the game. Can’t remember what the titles of them are, but like one that makes attack speed faster, and one that kills peons easily. And with Lu Bu’s story mode, you’re able to purchase better weapons sooner than you could compare to the other stories, so you can buy those weapons that belong to other characters early and use them when you come around to those characters.įor the weapons, I recommend only keeping weapons that have abilities that are good. I think it helps get the overall throughline of the whole story better, especially since Jin picks up literally where Shu leaves off. So in that order would be Lu Bu, Wei, Wu, Shu, and Jin. Even though Wei and Jin are heavily connected (being the same faction, after all), I recommend playing where the ending leaves you in the timeline. I actually disagree with that story progression. Personally I like to make them use the weapon of the other character that they are closest too as their secondary.Īlthough as a beginner I would suggest using the ex weapons just so you can try them all out Ultimately this isn't that important though, you could just use your two favorites, or theme them. And there are I think 4 weapon types this isn't the ranged/sword whatever that you can search for, unfortunately I can only remember the name of one right now which is dash, pretty much you want the type to match the ex weapon of the character. If you do want a different weapon there are two things you should consider, how much you enjoy using it, which you might not know very well, so just play around and pick what looks cool for now if you want. Shu is probably the best to start with but Wu and Wei are flexible with each other, just do Wei before Jin is probably the most important part Lu but I'd fine to leave last I wouldn't sell many weapons immediately, I kept three of each type, one of each element, as you get more you can sell the weaker ones.Īs for choosing weapons you do want at least one to be the ex weapon, your second weapon can just be the same but another element (from memory it's best if you choose the element which is weak to your primary weapon element.
